Rita Sarrafian obtained her Master of Arts in Political Science from Roosevelt University in 1995 along with her Paralegal Certificate in 1990 (ABA Approved). She has been working with Joseph Miroballi for 15 years beginning her career supporting him as a litigation paralegal at his prior law firm. She returned working for Mr. Miroballi at MDR in February 2009. She is responsible for managing Mr. Miroballi's daily schedule, drafting discovery and pleadings, obtaining witness statements, scheduling depositions, arranging availability of expert witnesses for trial purposes, deposition testimony, and consultation. She also organizes trial exhibits, prepares trial witness lists, and settlement conference memoranda. Ms. Sarrafian received her State of Illinois Teaching Certificate and her State of Illinois Paraprofessional Certificate from the State of Illinois in 2005. On an as needed basis to utilize and maintain her certificates, Rita substitutes as a primary education teacher.
