In July of 2005, Scott H. Rudin teamed up with
partners Joseph J. Miroballi and Albert E. Durkin to form MDR LAW LLC.
Scott takes great pride in and plays a key role on the MDR LAW LLC trial
team. His preparatory work in the discovery phase of the firm’s
cases facilitates substantial settlements and verdicts. Scott has been
practicing over 30 years, and has posted an impressive record of settlements
in a variety of personal injury cases. He holds an AV rating from Martindale
Hubble Company, confirming his status as a highly respected and ethical
member of the bar. He also was nominated by his peers to be honored
and distinguished as one of Illinois’s “Leading Lawyers”
in personal injury law. In February of 2009, Scott was appointed to
serve as a member of the Chicago Bar Association's Judicial Evaluation
Committee's Investigative Division and promoted in 2011 to a hearing
officer.
Scott
actively participates in several charitable endeavors. He recently co-founded
and is President of the Helping Hands Network, an organization that
raises funds for young adults with developmental disabilities who participate
in day programs and help finance residential programs to promote independence
(2016 – present); Scott is an active member (2015-present) of
100 Men Who Care 10% more which is a philanthropic organization that
raises money for charitable organizations on a quarterly basis; Board
of Trustees and Board of Directors for Keshet (2000-present); Vice President
and Co-Founder of Special Kids Network (1999-2016); Board of Directors
at the Equestrian Connection (2010-2012); From September of 2005 to
December of 2006 a member of the Illinois Autism Task Force; From 2004
– 2006; Scott served as a manager/ coach in the house league and
travel leagues of the Deerfield Youth Baseball Association (2008-2013);
Scott served as a Block Captain for a District 113 Referendum in 2013
which enhanced Deerfield and Highland Park High Schools.
On
June 10, 2019 Mr. Rudin was a guest panelist at Caruso Deerfield
Junior High School careers day and spoke to students about the practice
of law. On June 28, 2019, Mr. Rudin was a guest of Stan Konik
who is the Host/Producer of “Yesterday Once More”, WRLR
98.3- The Voice of Lake County. Mr. Rudin was interviewed about
the practice of personal injury law, and also spoke about charitable
endeavors, Autism, and the special needs community.
