Plaintiff, male 58, was making a delivery to a Food Distribution Company when he was struck by a reversing forklift, pinning him against a power jack. Plaintiff sustained soft tissue injuries to his ankle, pubic area and pelvis. Most significantly, he sustained an aggravation to pre-existing rotator cuff pathology that required a right reverse total shoulder arthroplasty. Plaintiff’s medical expenses were approximately $165,000. Due to his injuries, Plaintiff was unable to return to his heavy-duty trucking job.
