Peter earned his JD from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he earned Dean’s List honors each semester and received a CALI award as the most outstanding student in Criminal Procedure.
He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, as well as the Association of Fraternal Benefit Counsel and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association.
Peter is fluent in Polish and serves as General Counsel to the Polish National Alliance of the United States of North America, where he has experience handling regulatory matters before various State Departments of Insurance. Peter also serves as the Corporate Secretary for the Polish American Congress Charitable Foundation, which is a public charity that provides charitable, educational, and medical assistance to those in need in Poland and in the United States who are of Polish descent.
He also serves as General Counsel for the Chicago Midwest Chapter of the National Association of Surface Finishing, where he has experience in shareholder and member disputes and corporate governance.
Prior to joining MDR LAW LLC, Peter litigated commercial proceedings, civil disputes, and probate matters. He has experience with criminal defense, estate planning, and immigration matters.
Peter grew up on the north side of Park Ridge and currently lives in the western suburbs with his wife and dogs.
Outside of work, Peter enjoys golfing, gardening, spending time with family, and traveling. He loves to explore different cultures and travel abroad. Peter is also a movie enthusiast who loves watching classic movies, especially old John Wayne or Arnold Schwarzenegger movies.
